2010-09-14- HP have retired all scheduled classes that are based on ITIL V2.
HP will continue to work with individual organisations in order to provide specific customised course content.
The Office of Government Commmerce (OGC - owner of ITIL) have withdrawn ITIL V2 certification as follows:- - V2 Foundation to cease 30th June 2010
- V2 Manager to cease 31st August 2010
- V2 Practitioner to cease 21st December 2010
- V2 Foundation Bridge to V3 will cease 31st December 2010
- Re-sits will cease on 30th June 2011
- Pulication of ITIL V2 will also cease on 30th June 2011
CALL TO ACTION
2. HP would like to confirm that ITIL V3 is NOT being replaced. - Several updates to the 5 core books being applied - minor corrections and some suggested amendments
- The OGC requested this to be done as part of their "Continual Service Improvement" progamme
- HP are proud to be included as co-authors.
