This advanced course teaches system administrators about disaster tolerant clusters design and infrastructure. Architecture, installation and configuration are discussed, with hands-on labs to help reinforce the knowledge. The class covers: introduction to disaster tolerance concepts, overview of the architectures involved, product information, installation and configuration of a Metrocluster, configuring a package in a Metrocluster, theory of operation of the product, and basic maintenance and troubleshooting of a Metrocluster. Configurations include CA XP, CA EVA and EMC SRDF. This update also includes material on MetroRAC.
