Whatever test a candidate is taking, there are always questions about what to expect and sometimes anxiety about the experience. At Prometric, we know that the candidates who arrive in our test centers are people first. The exams they take with us often have a direct impact on their lives, salaries, professions or futures. In some cases, the day they test with us is the most important day of their life. We therefore strive to provide a testing experience that allows candidates to be as comfortable and confident as possible – giving them, the best opportunity to perform to the best of their abilities.
We test in more than 10,000 locations around the globe to provide candidates with the greatest access possible and our Test Center teams work to provide each and every test taker with a professional and consistent testing experience. Candidate service is available via web or full service call centers.
Test Anxiety? - Take a "test drive"
On Tuesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at most test sites, Prometric offers candidates of some programs the opportunity to experience the test center and to go through all of the testing procedures prior to test day. Content is not subject specific and you will not experience questions related to your particular exam, but Test Drive will allow you to "experience" all other aspects of the testing related activity, including locating the site, parking, check in, candidate identity procedure, locker storage and security measures. You will also be able to sit at a test work station and go through a 15 minute fake test allowing you to use the hardware and become familiar with the equipment and question types. Learn more >>
