HP e-learning

The critical first step is to define a forward thinking e-learning strategy to maximise the benefit of web technology within your organisation.

Our education consultants will facilitate this process to help understand the culture and ethos of your people and deliver the most relevant aspects of HPES' e-learning portfolio. E-learning is at the heart of HP's Integrated Learning Approach.

This approach is specifically designed to apply the appropriate learning technology and methodologies to your education and training needs, dramatically reducing the time and cost required for training. The idea is to deliver the right education to the right part of the organization at the right time with the right delivery method.

Course delivery using 'web enabled learning' (WEL)

Why should you use WEL?

  • Training can be delivered easily to a remote workforce
  • WEL is not dependant on time zones, work shifts, etc.
  • Users can be directed to topics that will benefit them the most
  • Updates, changes or new information can be added quickly and easily

The link below gives you the opportunity to see how HP education services' Web Enabled Learning (WEL) works.

Please note that this site is an abbreviated version of WEL, giving only a small sample of WEL resources for demonstration purposes.

Course delivery using 'e-learning on tap' (ELoT)

ELoT enables organisations stress-free hosting services to allow real-time, cost-effective instructor-led, on-line training to employees.

It can be used to run virtual staff training, sales meetings, specialised seminars, IT training or even for a team to work on a live document remotely.

IT resource center (ITRC)

HP's IT Resource Center provides access to self-paced web-based and live instructor-led training and seminars. In addition, users can access technical experts, libraries of information, discussion groups and HP's Electronic Support Center. Corporate plans are available to provide additional savings on ITRC training. The ITRC contains offerings on UNIX, Linux, Microsoft, MPE/iX, Java, E-Speak, HP OpenView/ITSM and more. Content is delivered by online classes and seminars (meant for professionals who seek knowledge and expertise from teachers who are the authority in their field), self-paced web-based training (at you own pace, from home or work, you may take HP education's web-based training courses). Other methods of delivering content are white papers, FAQ's, books, job aids, manuals and link library.
