ITIL V3 認證架構 分為3個層級:

ITIL V3採取「學分制」的計算方式，每種課程與認證都有一定的積分。

• Foundation level：
  ITIL V3須先取得基礎認證(Foundation)，始可朝進階認證邁進。基礎認證適合從事IT服務管理的各級人員，需要瞭解ITIL基本概念、ITIL十大流程及各流程間的關係。此認證為二學分。
• Intermediate level：
  ITIL V3的進階認證分成Lifecycle及Capability等兩個模組，Lifecycle模組有五種課程及認證， 每種認證各3學分；Capability模組則有四種課程及認證， 每種認證各4學分。
• Managing through the Lifecycle：
  完成Lifecycle或Capability模組後，再通過5學分的Managing Through the Lifecycle認證，即可累計達22學分，取得ITIL Expert 資格(目前可取得的最高階V3認證)。

• Lifecycle Module包含以下五種課程與認證：
  - Service Strategy（SS）
  - Service Design（SD）
  - Service Transition（ST）
  - Service Operation（SO）
  - Continuous Service Improvement（CSI）
• 每種認證各三學分
• 課程天數: 3天
• 考試 – complex multiple choice, multi-part, scenario based questions, 90 minutes, pass score 65%
先修課程 – ITIL Foundation or V2 to V3 bridge equivalent, attendance of an accredited course for the module

－Capability Module包含以下四種課程與認證：Capability Module包含以下四種課程與認證：

• Planning, protection and Optimization（PP&O）：Capacity; availability; continuity; security; demand and risk mgmt
• Service Offerings & Agreements（SO&A）：Portfolio; service level; catalogue; demand; supplier; financial mgmt
• Operational Support & Analysis（OS&A）：Event, Incident, Request, Problem, Access, Service Desk, Technical, IT Ops, and application mgmt
• Release, Control & Validation（RC&V）：Change, Release and deployment, validation and testing, asset and configuration, knowledge, request fulfillment, and service evaluation management

－每種認證各四學分

－課程天數: 5天

－考試 – complex multiple choice, multi-part, scenario based questions, 90 minutes, pass score 65%

－先修課程 – ITIL Foundation or V2 to V3 bridge equivalent, attendance of an accredited course for the module

－Foundation level：
